Are you a pro at games such as Fortnite, League of Legends and Fifa? Well now you can earn £45 an hour teaching others others to play professionally!
Gaming has been a popular hobby for the past 30 years, and ever since the first game console was released in the early 1970s, people have been captivated by the alternate reality they provide.
Fast forward to now, and gaming has evolved into a multibillion-dollar industry, where people queue for days to get their hands on the newest game release, and spend thousands on gaming tech and accessories.
It’s even evolved into a lucrative career path for some, with major games such as Fortnite and Fifa hosting annual championships for their top players, with prizes that range from hundreds of thousands of dollars to millions. Naturally, many gaming enthusiasts are keen to hone their skills in a bid to be the best. Even if there aren't huge prizes to be won, gaming is intrinsically competitive and in today's tech-driven society, being at the top of the leaderboard brings with it a host of exciting opportunities.
Don’t believe us? Well you just need to hop onto YouTube to see the thousands of videos posted by gaming pros, and viewed hundreds of thousands of times by adoring fans. When delivered by experienced gamers, Youtube videos can be insanely popular. For example, professional gamer, Krasi, has 441,000 subscribers and received 171,000 views on a Fifa 20 skills video he uploaded within a week, while a Fortnite beginner’s guide tutorial has over 2 million views on YouTube.
