Are you next the Obi-Wan Kenobi?

We love to share the quirky tutoring requests we receive, and were thinking just the other day it’s been a while since we received one...Then as if by fate, we received an email from a couple in London, who are recruiting for a tutor to help their 11-year-old son with his Year 6 Key Stage 2 English.

However, there is a catch. Their son is Star Wars obsessed and in an attempt to help him progress, engage and focus more, they would like the tutor to dress as Obi-Wan Kenobi (his favourite character) and integrate Star Wars into his tuition.

Here's a screen shot of the original email:

Jedi Request FV

The family says that their son is very talented at Maths, but worry that his reading/writing skills may hinder him from getting into grammar school next year.

We can imagine this would be the perfect job for a tutor who is also a Star Wars mega fan, not to mention the above average wage of £60 an hour, so we encourage anyone who can fulfil this unique role to get in touch with us!

We’ll be forwarding all CVs and applications on to the family. However, they will be contacting potential candidates directly – so keep an eye on your inbox, and let the force be with you!
